讲员简介：Arianne M. Gaetano 博士目前是美国Auburn University 人类学助理教授。她在美国南加州大学获得人类学博士学位和性别研究文凭，主要研究方向是现代中国的文化和中国社会。她有多年在中国做田野研究的经验。她的新书Out to Work: Migration, Gender, and the Changing Lives of Rural Women in Contemporary China(2015)由University of Hawai’i Press出版。 她先后在International Migration; Gender, Place, and Culture; Visual Anthropology Review; and the Journal on Research in Gender Studies等期刊上发表论文，并在Martin K. Whyte, ed., One Country, Two Societies: Rural-Urban Inequality in Contemporary China (Harvard University Press 2010)上发表论文篇章。她作为合编者的著作(Arianne M. Gaetano and Tamara Jacka, eds.) On the Move: Women and Rural-to-Urban Migration in Contemporary China 在2004年由Columbia University Press 出版。
